A Summer Island Getaway by Ferry from Seoul 🌊
This summer, why not escape the crowds and head to a peaceful island instead? 🤍

🚢 How to Get to Soyado Island
📍Incheon Coastal Ferry Terminal → Deokjeokdo Island (Jin-ri Port)
✔️ Ferry ride: about 1 hour 10 minutes (high-speed ferry)
✔️ Round-trip ferry fare (for 2 people): KRW 134,000
(Outbound: KRW 68,500 / Return: KRW 65,500)
*Weekend, peak season, and public holiday fares are subject to a 10% surcharge.
Fuel surcharges apply separately.

The ocean views from the ferry were absolutely beautiful. 🤍
Once you arrive at Deokjeokdo Island, cross Soya Bridge to reach Soyado Island!
Public transportation on the island is limited, so when booking your accommodation,
it's a good idea to check whether they offer a pickup service. ⭐️

🏖️ Tteppuru Beach
With its crystal-clear water and peaceful atmosphere,
this was the most memorable place on Soyado Island for me!

🏡 We stayed at Seomchorong Pension.
It had the cozy charm of a countryside guesthouse,
the room was clean,and for KRW 80,000 per night,
they even provided a barbecue grill free of charge if you booked the BBQ.

🔥 We wrapped up the day with a charcoal barbecue.
There's just something about grilling meat by the sea
—it somehow tastes even better. 🥹

A perfect ending to a perfect Soyado Island trip. 🏝️

We found a place where you can legally cook, enjoy the valley, and even stay overnight! ✨
Since it's managed by a public authority, the shower facilities and restrooms are clean.
And somehow, it still hasn't become crowded—even on a weekend afternoon! 🫢
