Learning a machine, mastering know how and getting discipline..

This kind of training builds practical skills that matter in real careers, highlighting precision, safety, consistency, and the confidence to work to standard. It’s exactly why BAFF sits so close to the SLYG ecosystem: students learn near the tools and expectations of the industry.

Progress in BAFF is a collective success !
BAFF is not only training on machines. It’s also building the habits that matter later: teamwork, attention to detail, and learning how to solve problems together. That’s what turns a course into real readiness.

At BAFF, learning looks like this: focus, hands on work, and real tools.
Everyday, our students train close to professional standards, with the same discipline you need in a real workshop. The badge matters too. It’s a small symbol, but it marks a serious path: skills built step by step, with a clear direction toward real jobs across the industry.

Training becomes powerful when it happens next to real work.

At BAFF, students do not only learn “about” boatbuilding. On the job training allow them to train close to the tools, techniques, and standards used inside the SLYG ecosystem. Here, they are working with vacuum resin processes alongside an Ocean Voyager professional, in real workshop conditions where precision and discipline matter.

This is how the Foundation strengthens the future of the blue economy in Sri Lanka: by turning learning into capability, and capability into careers, inside the group or beyond.
