WILPATTU NATIONAL PARK -

Wilpattu is the largest and one of the olderst national park in Srilanka. Wilpattu is among top national park world- renowned for its leopard (panthera pardus kotiya) population. Located in the northwest coast lowland dry zone of Srilanka. About the park 1317 square kilometers (131693 hectares) and ranges from 0-152 meters above sea level. Due to the immense wildlife of the park and the scenic beauty, the park is a perfect camping site for spot for safari as well.

BUDURUWAGALA
Buduruwagala is an ancient Buddhist temple in Srilanka.Authorities generally date them to the 09th or 10th century. Buduruwagala means "the rock of Buddhist sculptures".The name Buduruwagala is derived from the words for Buddha (Budu), images (Ruwa), and stone(Gala).Most visitors especially Buddhists, Who attend the temple will make sure to visit Buduruwagala.
The reservoir is located beside Buduruwagala. Famous for local fishery and bird watching area.

SEETHA AMMAN TEMPLE.- Thise temple is located approxinately 1.6 km from Hakgala Botanical garden and 5.3km from Nuwaraeliya. Thise place is believed to be the site where Seetha was held captive by King RVANA, and where She prayed daily for Rama to come and rescue her in the Hindu epic RAMAYANAYA. On the rock face across the stream are circular depressions said to be the footprints of lord HANUMAN.
