The long awaited moment has finally arrived! Maldivian's inaugural flight landed last night to a warm welcome from Bandaranaike International Airport.

On board were 138 excited passengers, and the flight was welcomed by a celebratory water cannon salute upon arrival at BIA.

To showcase Sri Lanka's world renowned hospitality the passengers were warmly welcomed with Sri Lanka Tea Board sponsored Ceylon Tea gift packs followed by a traditional Kandyan dance performance.

Our sincerest gratitude towards Chief Guest Minister of Ports, Shipping and Aviation Hon Nimal Siripala De Silva for his presence on this monumental day.

Nawaloka Air Services hosted the "Launch of Colombo Service" event, celebrating Maldivian's new route between Sri Lanka and Maldives.

This marks a milestone as Maldivian prepares for its inaugural flight on April 25th, offering two weekly flights on Thursdays and Saturdays.

Special guests included representatives from Maldivian, Dr. Jayantha Dharmadasa, Chairman of Nawaloka Holdings, and Mr. Ranga Goonawardena, High Commissioner Designate to The Republic of Maldives. 🎉🛫
