‘Bow Cheetah’ joined the global chemical tanker fleet earlier this month fresh from the renowned Asakawa Shipyard in Japan.

We are delighted to report that full technical management of the vessel has been entrusted to Synergy Marine Group.

‘Bow Cheetah’ is owned by Murakami Sekiyu Co., Ltd of Japan and is under charter to Odfjell SE.
The 26-tank vessel is equipped with steam/hot water heating and thermal oil and is perfectly suited to carrying a wide range of sensitive cargoes.

She is the first in a series of sister ships that will join the Odfjell Tankers fleet in 2022/23. Synergy Marine Group will also be entrusted with the full technical management of ‘Bow Panther’ which is due for delivery in November, and the “Bow Lion” and “Bow Leopard” due in January and April 2023.

As always, the entire Synergy team, both ashore and at sea, looks forward to responding to all requirements with the speed and agility which matches the vessel’s name.

Here's wishing Captain Rajeev Kaushik, Chief Engineer Shamsh Tabrez and our entire team on board fair winds and following seas.

Please join us in congratulating our CEO and founder Captain Rajesh Unni on his appointment to the Global Maritime Forum's Board of Directors.

“This appointment is a tremendous honour, for me personally and also for the Synergy Marine Group, but more importantly, as a representative of the ship management sector, it is also a tremendous responsibility,”

"GMF was founded on the principles of transparency and accountability. These are the core qualities that the maritime industry must place in front and centre as it tackles the formidable challenges ahead. As we seek solutions, cross-industry collaboration will be critical to our success. Equally vital will be our ability to demonstrate and highlight progress to customers and regulators,"

It’s another proud tankship addition to the Synergy family.

The ‘WHITE PEARL’ is a newbuild 37,000 dwt asphalt carrier now under our full technical management.

Synergy Marine Group also supervised the ‘WHITE PEARL’ from conception to berth. Specifically, our Newbuilding and Conversion team managed the vessel through specification review, plan approval, site supervision and construction at Chengxi Shipyard in China.

The vessel has now been delivered to its delighted owner - Kumiai Senpaku Co. Ltd.

“The team did a fantastic job supervising this vessel, which really is best in class,” said our CCO, Martin Ackermann.

“This project showcased the versatility in the newbuilding arena, which has allowed us to take on so many diverse projects in the maritime and offshore sectors.”

Synergy Group’s Newbuilding and Conversion team provides tailor-made solutions for FSRUs, FSUs, FRUs, FSOs, conventional and dual-fuel LPG vessels, LNG dual-fuel vessels, tankers, asphalt carriers, bulk carriers, container carriers, self-unloaders, and various transshipment solutions.

Well done to all parties including; AET, Shell, Sinokor Petrochemical and Port Canaveral for completing the first ship-to-ship bunkering of an LNG-fuelled Aframax in the US.

We would like to especially say well done to our team on board the "Pacific Ruby", which is under our full technical management.

Synergy Marine Group has been investing heavily in training seafarers for LNG operations. We have already set up an LNG Bunkering and LNG fuelled engine simulator to train crews and have also worked with various stakeholders for crew training standards for such vessels.

We also successfully converted a 1992-built, 126,000 cubic meters capacity LNG carrier into a Floating Storage Unit recently, as in, https://lnkd.in/dwfUVP6U

Firmly on its pathway to Net-zero emissions - Shipping is at the brink of an energy revolution, in this vital decade and as technical thought partners to our customers, we are proud to be part of the solution.

A warm welcome to the family to the dual-fuel duo “PACIFIC DIAMOND” and “PACIFIC PEARL”, and also to the “PELICAN MARINER” and the “CLEAROCEAN MESQUITE”.

We appreciate the trust that our clients put in us when they hand over their vessels for full Technical Management by Synergy Marine Group. We are grateful that they have the same faith as we do in our excellent seafarers and management teams, and confidence shown by our clients is always appreciated and greatly valued.
