Just on my way home from a wonderful three-day trip to Rome. It wasn’t without drama and a little disappointment, but was as usual a splendid visit to the Eternal City. With Anita Buxton, Jane Moss and Emily Moss. Until the next time Italy!

So, I’m sadly coming to the end of my wonderful Sri Lankan holiday. Most of the rest of the lovely tour group have left this morning, but I’ve got an extra day at this lovely resort on the south west coast, so I’m delaying my return to the great British winter weather for an extra day.
If anyone has thought about SL for a holiday but you’re undecided, I highly recommend it.
I think it was a great introduction to solo travelling for me, as apart from the tour itself, the other guests and the Tour Manager were also great. See you in Blighty in a few days! Much love. x
