Tess and Samson are safely in Colombo.

These two beautiful Dachshunds travelled with their owner, Jaimie, from Dubai via Abu Dhabi, flying in-cabin on Etihad Airways to Colombo.

While Jaimie kept Tess and Samson close throughout the journey, Pet Express Sri Lanka handled the Sri Lanka-side import process, including the required import documentation, pre-clearance arrangements and on-arrival pet clearance at Colombo.

For accompanied pet travel, the flight itself may be with the owner, but the destination formalities still need to be prepared correctly before arrival. Documentation, government approvals, veterinary requirements and airport clearance all have to come together seamlessly.

Barney looks like a snow-white little cloud, but he has the personality of a full-time showman.

This irresistibly fluffy Bichon Frise and Shih Tzu cross is friendly, curious, wonderfully active, and just a little shy until he feels comfortable. Once he does, Barney is everywhere. Running around, inspecting everything, showing off, chatting away, and making sure he receives all the attention, love, and cuddles available.

Barney is with our team in Colombo right now, completing his final preparations before flying out in just a few hours to be reunited with his mum, Amanda.

Two irresistible personalities. One carefully prepared journey home.

Izabella and Cloud are currently in our care in Colombo, completing their final preparations before flying later tonight to be reunited with their family.

Cloud is a magnificent Ragdoll, while Izabella is an exceptionally fluffy Exotic Longhair with the distinctive snub-nosed features that make her breed so special. Together, they are affectionate, curious, wonderfully cheeky, and almost impossible not to adore.

For Lovie, the flight was the shortest part of the journey.

Lovie, a beautiful African Grey parrot, has arrived safely in Colombo after travelling from Dubai, UAE, following several months of meticulous planning by Pet Express Sri Lanka.

She is a deeply loved indoor companion who is happiest at home and has spent her entire life with her family. This was a non-commercial personal pet movement, and every requirement had to be completed correctly before she could travel.

Pet Express Sri Lanka handled the entire relocation from start to finish, including the CITES export and import permits, legal approvals in the UAE and Sri Lanka, supporting travel documentation, flight arrangements, arrival formalities, customs clearance and safe delivery.
