S. Daniel P. Joseph senior who prefers to be called Auto-coach Dan dropped a few line of sentences:

IGP Coleman,

I am angry. Liberia is angry.

😡 This is what the Liberia National Police is good at doing — issuing tickets, mounting dark checkpoints, and giving press statements after blood has already been spilled.

Least I forget:
How many persons were LIVE SQUEEZED OUT on Saturday’s road traffic accident on the Gbarnga route, and not to even talk of those that also lost their lives yesterday along the same route???
WHERE WERE YOU??? ❓

You took an oath to Serve and Protect.
Title 38 of the Liberian Law of 1972 gave you operational responsibility.
But our highways are bleeding 🩸 and your presence is not saving lives. It is only counting bodies.

THE HARD TRUTH:

YOU BLAMED MOTORCYCLISTS
You chased kekeh and bike riders off certain streets. You said they were the reason for accidents.
You and I know that was not the real reason. But even after you pushed them away, did the crashes stop? NO.
The blood 🩸 kept flowing.

YOU PROMISED HIGHWAY PATROL
You said reinstating the highway patrol team would solve it.
IGP Gregory O.W Coleman, the gravity has increased. More blood. More widows. More orphans.
Where was the patrol on Saturday on the road to Ganta when lives were squeezed out?

YOU USE TITLE 38 AS A SHELL
You are busy with vehicles registration, licenses, and tickets because that puts food on tables.
But the part of Title 38 that demands prevention, education, visibility, and enforcement — you abandoned it.
You mount checkpoints in DARKNESS with NO signs. That is not enforcement. That is a DEATHTRAP.

LET ME TELL YOU WHAT ROAD SAFETY IS:
Road safety is not a child’s play.
It doesn’t require a degree.
It doesn’t require a gun.
It doesn’t require a desk for comfort.

It requires:
• Lights at checkpoints
Reflective signs 100 meters before a stop
• Education in markets, parks, schools, churches, mosques, checkpoints, and radio.
• Officers who care more about saving lives than collecting fines
• Leaders who will be held accountable when preventable deaths happen.

MY FINAL WORDS TO YOU IGP COLEMAN AND THE LNP:

Continue to enrich yourselves using Title 38 as a shell.
Continue to look away while our people die.

But know this:
This is ON RECORD.
History will judge you.
And the blood 🩸 of every Liberian who died in an avoidable road accident will continue to cry on the heads of each and every one of you who took an oath to serve and protect but chose comfort over duty.

We don’t need more excuses. We need ACTION.
LIGHT THE CHECKPOINTS. EDUCATE THE PEOPLE. ENFORCE THE LAW TO SAVE LIFE, NOT JUST TO COLLECT MONEY.

Until then, the LNP will NEVER gain relevance on our roads.
