A great example of joint preparedness in action 🚒🛩🔥

Last weekend in Upper Austria, more than 400 emergency personnel trained together to respond to a large‑scale wildfire scenario in alpine terrain.
Four of our Fire Boss aircraft conducted water scooping operations on Lake Traunsee before carrying out targeted water drops over the mountainous area of Kasberg.

Ground and air teams working side by side showed how critical seamless coordination is when it matters most.

We thank everyone involved for the professional conduct of the exercise, the excellent support, and their dedication to protecting nature, lives, and livelihoods.
A special thanks goes to the fire brigade Kirchdorf, the support teams at the lake, as well as Harald Rachlinger (organiser), Klaus Egger (aerial coordinator), and Max Mittelbach (air attack). 🤝

On Saturday, 9 May, Aquarius Aerial Firefighting will participate in a large‑scale wildfire response exercise in Upper Austria.🔥

The event brings together regional and international partners, including fire service disaster relief units (F‑KAT), specialised wildfire and vegetation fire units, and multiple aerial operators.

Such joint exercises are a key element of operational preparedness. They strengthen coordination between ground and air assets, improve cooperation in large‑scale emergency scenarios, and enhance safety for both responding personnel and the population.

We welcome and support this initiative by the Bezirksfeuerwehrkommando Kirchdorf and value the opportunity to contribute to collective readiness.🤝

𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗕𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘂𝘀!🎂

Today, 6 May 2026, Aquarius Aerial Firefighting celebrates its 2nd birthday 🥳.

Over the past year, we have:
• Entered our second wildfire season
• Completed our first deployment to Türkiye
• Grown our fleet to eight aircraft (with two more coming soon)
• Received our FTD‑2 aerial firefighting flight simulator from Entrol
• Trained numerous pilots in the simulator, in classrooms, and in the air

A big thank you to our dedicated team and supportive partners for another successful year. We’re looking forward to many more to come. 🎉

New year - new aircraft: Our first fleet arrival of 2026! 🛩️🔥

We are thrilled to welcome LX-AFJ, a two-seater AT-802 Fire Boss, strengthening our fleet as we enter the 2026 season.
With this newest addition, our aerial firefighting fleet counts eight Fire Boss aircraft, further strengthening our capability to respond rapidly and effectively across Europe.
Equipped with a digital glass cockpit, the FRDS Gen III Fire Response Dispersal System, the highest-power PT6A engine rating, FLARM collision-avoidance, and tactical radios, LX-AFJ contributes to reliable and effective aerial firefighting operations. 🙌🏼
