The delivery of Malaysia Airlines’ first A330neo has been delayed due to findings identified by Airbus during the flight line stage. Originally scheduled for delivery in September, the aircraft is now expected to arrive by late November 2024.

The airline expects to receive 5 Airbus A330neo by Q1 2025.

We are thrilled to announce that Luxair is expanding its fleet with an order for two Boeing 737-10 airplanes, with options for two more. This significant addition comes just one year after our purchase of the 737-7 and 737-8 models. ✈️

“The purchase of the 737-10 is another step towards Luxair positioning for its future with the investment in the latest airplane technology that will support Luxair’s growth plans and the decarbonization of our fleet. (...) In addition to reducing overall fuel use and emissions, the 737 MAX will help create a 50 percent smaller noise footprint by reducing noise generated by takeoffs and landings at Luxembourg Airport.” - Gilles Feith, Luxair CEO.

With these new 737-10 aircraft, we plan to offer passengers a minimum of 30 inches of seat pitch. In this configuration, Luxair can fly up to 213 passengers on routes stretching 5,740 km, providing increased capacity and range to better serve the growing demand for leisure travel.
