This strategic acquisition significantly strengthens JOST’s presence in Germany, Europe’s largest logistics market, and further expands its network in the highly dynamic Rhine-Ruhr region.
With more than 40 years of expertise, CTJ brings strong capabilities in transport, warehousing and value-added logistics services, serving major customers in the food, beverage and consumer goods sectors. Together, JOST and CTJ will create even greater value through an enhanced European network, increased operational flexibility and expanded end-to-end supply chain solutions.
CTJ currently generates annual revenues of approximately €135 million and employs around 650 people. CTJ, active in the less-than-truckload and full-truckload segments, owns approximately 400 trucks and more than 500 trailers and offers a comprehensive range of transport and logistics services. Taking into consideration the subcontractors and the spot market, CTJ loads approximately 650 vehicles per day.
The completion of the transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions, including approval by the German Federal Cartel Office (Bundeskartellamt).
Following the completion of the transaction, JOST will operate with 𝟰,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗲𝘀, 𝟮,𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝗸𝘀, 𝟰,𝟱𝟬𝟬 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟴𝟬𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗺² 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 across Europe and North Africa.
