The project for AirXโ€™s newly acquired Challenger 850 brought together every area of our expertise โ€” exterior painting, engine-related work, aircraft maintenance, landing gear work, avionics upgrades and a complete cabin refurbishment.

Each stage was carefully coordinated to ensure that the technical work, exterior finish and cabin design came together as one complete aircraft.

A special thank you to Maria Azzopardi, who was responsible for the interior design and approval. Maria, your eye for design and attention to every detail played an important role in shaping the finished cabin. Thank you as well for capturing the final result so beautifully.

Our sincere thanks also go to Christopher McGrath, who was responsible for all maintenance and modification activities throughout the project. Your professionalism and close collaboration helped bring every stage together successfully.

From the first technical works to the final finishing touches, this project was a true team effort.

What the eye canโ€™t see, precision can measure. ๐Ÿ“โœˆ๏ธ

In aviation, even a fraction of a millimeter matters.

At our aircraft engine repair facility, we use a Hexagon Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to perform detailed dimensional inspections of engine components โ€” measuring complex features, component geometry and tight tolerances that conventional equipment alone may not reliably verify.

With accuracy down to a single micron โ€” up to 100 times thinner than a human hair โ€” the CMM provides our engineering and production teams with accurate, repeatable measurement data.

From incoming inspections and engineering evaluations to repair activities, reverse engineering and final dimensional verification, this in-house capability helps us identify deviations and confirm that inspected or repaired components meet the applicable technical requirements.

So, when an aircraft is ready to return to the sky, you can have confidence that even the details youโ€™ll never see have been measured with precision.
