Stepping into history at the Ben Youssef Madrasa, one of Marrakech’s most breathtaking architectural treasures. Intricate zellige tilework, hand-carved cedar wood, and delicate stucco details tell the story of a place that inspired generations of scholars for centuries.

Rebuilt in 1564–1565, this former Islamic college was the largest madrasa in Morocco, with around 130 student rooms and the capacity to accommodate up to 800 students at a time, making it one of the largest centers of Islamic learning in North Africa.
