Morocco Countryside Tours Morocco Countryside Tours Is A Family Business Organizing Fully Customizable Trips. We are an Amazigh family from the south east of Morocco.

Our business is at the heart of our ambition, bringing memorable experiences and the Berber culture to tourists and visitors.Our history lies within the desert, where we lived as a nomadic family. We reared animals, such as goats and camels and our lives completely depended upon them. We moved in search of water and food for us and our animals. Around 40 years ago, Morocco suffered a great drought

which altered the way in which we could live. Our family chose to reside in a small oasis in the middle of the desert, near Merzouga. From this time, we began farming and my family developed a more settled community.Historically, the desert has always been a place of wonder for travellers and tourists. We would meet with many European adventurers and arrange for them to journey into the dunes on a sunset camel trip and experience an overnight stay at a desert camp. 12 years ago, my family started a company, Morocco Countryside Tours and we offered work to nomadic children and gave them the opportunity to study and become guides. Our mission was to support the many different families living in the remote desert.2 years ago, we decided to develop further opportunities and so built our own camp called Moonlight Desert Camp. Still a family venture with far reaching provisions for other nomad children who were never given the opportunity for a school education. We provide jobs at the camp varying from camel guides to cleaning. Our Nomad workforce plays a key role in the delivery of exciting and magical experiences by sharing music, stories and the history of Berber culture and nomadic life that no textbook or travel guide could ever really teach you.Our doors are always open at the camp, offering a warm and heartfelt welcome to visitors from around the globe. We too share the experiences of our clients and endeavour to offer the best countryside tours to be found throughout Morocco. Our kingdom awaits you.
