5-Day Tour from Marrakech to the Sahara Desert

Day 1: Marrakech โ High Atlas Mountains โ Ait Ben Haddou โ Ouarzazate โ Agdz
The adventure begins with an early departure from Marrakech, heading towards the High Atlas Mountains. The journey follows the Tizi nโTichka Pass (2,260m), the highest mountain pass in Morocco, offering breathtaking views of the valleys and Berber villages. Along the way, there are stops for photographs and visits to small mountain villages.
A visit to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, provides insight into Moroccoโs rich history. This famous ksar, with its earthen clay architecture, has been featured in numerous films and TV series such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones.

The next stop is Tinghir, an oasis town set against dramatic cliffs. The highlight here is the Todra Gorges, a natural wonder with towering rock walls reaching up to 300 meters. There is time for a short walk through the canyon, offering stunning views and a chance to meet local climbers and nomadic families.
The road then follows the scenic Dades Valley, often called the โValley of a Thousand Kasbahs.โ Along the way, unique rock formations known as โMonkey Fingersโ can be seen, shaped by centuries of wind and water erosion. The night is spent in a beautiful hotel overlooking the valley.
