🌴11 Days 10 Nights Morocco desert Tour From Casablanca to Marrakech 🌴

🌴Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca

On the first day of your 11 days Morocco itinerary from Casablanca, we will meet you at the airport or your hotel and start exploring Morocco’s largest city. You will visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque, one of the most beautiful landmarks in the country, built on the Atlantic shore. Depending on your arrival time, we may also see Mohammed V Square, the lively Corniche, and stop for a picture at Rick’s Café. Overnight stay in Casablanca.

🌴Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen (5 hr 6 min 341 km)

After breakfast, we drive to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Here you will explore the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of Oudaya. After some free time for lunch, we continue north through the Rif Mountains to reach the charming blue-painted town of Chefchaouen. Overnight in a local hotel.

🌴Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes (3 hr 42 min 197 km)

In the morning, you can enjoy a walk in the colorful streets of Chefchaouen. Later, we drive to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its mosaics and arches. After exploring, we continue to Meknes to see Bab Mansour, the Royal Stables, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. In the evening, we arrive in Fes for an overnight stay in a riad.

🌴Day 4: Fes City Tour

Today is dedicated to discovering Fes with a local guide. You will see the Royal Palace Gate, the old Jewish Quarter, and enjoy a panoramic view from Borj Sud. The tour continues to the pottery and ceramic school before heading into the old Medina, a UNESCO site. Walking through the narrow streets, you will visit Al Attarine Madrasa, the University of Al Quaraouiyine, and the famous tanneries. Overnight stay in Fes.

🌴Day 5: Fes - Ifrane - Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga Sahara Desert (7 hr 19 min 468 km)

After breakfast, we leave Fes and drive south through Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco. Then we pass the cedar forest where you may see monkeys, before stopping in Midelt for lunch. The journey continues through the Ziz Valley with its palm groves and small villages. In the afternoon we reach Merzouga, where you will ride camels across the dunes to enjoy the sunset. Overnight in a desert camp with Berber music under the stars. This is one of the most magical parts

🌴Day 6: Merzouga Desert Tour

You will wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, then return to Merzouga by camel or 4×4. Today is for exploring the desert region, including a visit to nomad families, the village of Khamlia with its Gnawa music, and the palm groves.

You will also see the seasonal lake of Merzouga, often home to flamingos. Overnight in a hotel in Merzouga.

🌴Day 7: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley (4 hr 13 min 271 km)

After breakfast, we leave Merzouga and stop in Rissani to visit its traditional market. We continue to Erfoud, famous for fossils, then travel through palm groves to reach Todra Gorges, a beautiful canyon with high cliffs. After lunch, we drive through Boumalne Dades and see the rock formations known as “monkey fingers” before arriving at your hotel in Dades Valley.

🌴Day 8: Dades Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech (5 hr 42 min 334 km)

We continue the 11 Days Morocco Itinerary from Casablanca with a drive through Rose Valley and Skoura palm groves. In Ouarzazate, you can visit the film studios where many movies were filmed. Next, we stop at Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed kasbah that has appeared in films like Gladiator and series like Game of Thrones. Later, we cross the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka pass before reaching Marrakech. Overnight stay in a riad.

🌴Day 9: Marrakech City Tour

Today you explore Marrakech with a local guide. The tour includes the Bahia Palace, Ben Youssef Madrasa, the Medina with its colorful souks, Jamaa El Fna Square, and the Koutoubia Mosque. In the afternoon, you can also visit the Majorelle Garden and drive through the modern district of Gueliz. Overnight in Marrakech.

🌴Day 10: Marrakech – Essaouira (2 hr 55 min 184 km)

After breakfast, we drive to Essaouira on the Atlantic coast. On the way, we pass argan tree plantations where you may see goats climbing the trees. In Essaouira, you will explore the fishing port, the ramparts with cannons, and the old Medina. The city is also known for its sandy beach and fresh seafood. Overnight stay in Essaouira.

🌴Day 11: Essaouira – Casablanca 4 hr 33 min (371 km)

On the final day of your 11 days Morocco Itinerary from Casablanca we drive back to Casablanca. Depending on your flight schedule, you will be dropped off at the airport in time for departure. The tour can also end in Marrakech if preferred. This marks the end of your unforgettable journey across Morocco.

DAY 1: FES - IFRANE – AZROU - MIDELT - ZIZ VALLEY - ERG CHEBBI DUNES.

Pick up from your hotel in Fes very earlier and departure for the south of Morocco. You will have a stop in Ifrane, known as the switzerland of Morocco to enjoy its beauty and to have a memorable photos. After that you will head toward Azrou to see the monkies in the cedar forest. Continuing to Midelt for a lunch meal in a restaurant. In the afternoon, we will cross the pass of TIZI n TALGHAMT to reach Errachidia while admiring the views of Ziz gorges. Later on, you will have a stop for a panoramic view of Ziz valley. The drive continues to Erg Chebbi Dunes passing by Aoufous and Erfoud (the last is famous with fossils and dates) where you may want to visit a local fossil craft workshop. After that you will continue to the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi, these dunes are called also Merzouga Dunes. Arrive to the hotel and get ready for a camel trek for an hour and half to enjoy the sunset. While on the back of your dromedary, you will continue to the camp for an overnight in traditional nomad tent. Dinner and spend the night in desert

DAY 2: ERG CHEBBI DUNE-ERFOUD -TODRA GORGE Ouarzazate

Wake up early morning to enjoy the sunrise on the top of the dune in the Sahara Desert then have your breakfast. After these beautiful moments, you will ride your camel back to the hotel where you can shower. We depart towards Tinghir passing by Erfoud and Tinejdad. Have a break for lunch. In the afternoon, we will continue to Todra gorges via Tinghir. Stopping along the way for photos and admiring the views. Arrival to Todra Gorges to enjoy its marvelous Canyons views while hiking in todrs stopping for a panoramic view of dades valley. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. In Ouarzazate

DAY 3: Ouarzazate BENHADDOU-TIZI N’TICHKA PASS-MARRAKECH

This morning after breakfast in the hotel, We depart from Ouarzazate . Stopping for a panoramic view of the kasbah of Taourirt then another photo stop near the atlas film studios. After that you will visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou and stop for lunch in a local restaurant in the village. In the Afternoon we will drive to Marrakech over the mountains of high Atlas passing through the Tizi N’tichka pass (2260 m in altitude). Drop off at your Riad in Marrakech.
