ထားဝယ်အထူးစီးပွားရေးဇုန် ကနဉီးစီမံကိန်း အကောင်အထည်ဖော်ဆောင်ရွက်မှု လက်ရှိအခြေအနေအား အများပြည်သူသိရှိနိုင်ရန် သတင်းကြေညာချက်အား (၁၈-၁-၂၀၂၁) ရက်စွဲဖြင့် ထားဝယ်အထူးစီးပွားရေးဇုန်စီမံခန့်ခွဲမှုကော်မတီမှ ထုတ်ပြန်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ အဆိုပါ သတင်းထုတ်ပြန်ခြင်းအခမ်းအနားနှင့်အတူ သတင်းစာရှင်းလင်းပွဲအား ယနေ့နံနက် ၁၀ နာရီ အချိန်တွင် နေပြည်တော်ရှိ လျှပ်စစ်နှင့်စွမ်းအင်ဝန်ကြီးဌာန၊ ရုံးအမှတ်(၂၇)ရှိ ရတနာခန်းမ၌ Covid-19 ရောဂါကာကွယ်ထိန်းချုပ်ရေး အစီအမံများနှင့် အညီ ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ပြီး အခမ်း အနားသို့ ဖိတ်ကြားထားသည့် သတင်းဌာနများမှ သတင်းထောက်များ တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။

Dawei SEZ Management Committee issued a media announcement on (18-1-2021) to publicize about the update of Dawei SEZ Initial Phase Development. A press conference together with the release of the announcement is also held at 10 am today at the Ministry of Electricity and Energy Office in Nay Pyi Taw in accordance with Covid-19 disease prevention and control measures and it is attended by reporters from invited media.

A video conferencing meeting presided by Dr. Tun Naing, Chairman of the DSEZ MC was held this afternoon where it was attended by Vice-Chairman (2) Dr. Myint San, Secretary and Dr. Tin Htoo Naing and members of DSEZ MC.

It was discussed on the status of activities that have been implemented as well as those to be implemented in the future, matters related to cooperation with Japan and also including matters related to the update of DSEZ to be publicized.

DSEZ MC explained development of Dawei Special Economic Zone Implementation Progress

Dawei Special Economic Zone Management Committee (DSEZ MC) explained development of Dawei SEZ Implementation progress to Tanintharyi Regional Government members, Representatives of Pyithu Hluttaw, Amyotha Hluttaw and Regional Hluttaw of Tanintharyi Region.

H.E. Dr. Tun Naing, Chairman of DSEZ MC and Deputy Minister of Electricity and Energy attended the meeting via video conferencing and delivered opening remarks.

In his remarks it include, the Dawei Deep Sea Port project that was launched in 2008 and the project was restructured in 2016 as Dawei Special Economic Zone demarcating it as Initial phase and Full phase, signing MOU by bilateral governments of Myanmar and Thailand, offering of Japanese government to participate in Myanmar-Thai JCC and JHC for development of DSEZ Project that was accepted by Myanmar Government very recently, discussions on upcoming matters to be undertaken, upgrading of construction of Two-lane road between DSEZ Project and Htii-Khee (Myanmar-Thai border), and electrification efforts being made by Myanmar Government.

In the course of meeting, Dr. Myint San explained on current development of DSEZ Project and its future activities to be undertaken using power point slides. Queries of representatives were replied with explanations made by related members of DSZE Management Committee.

Those attended at the meeting are U Khin Maung Aye, Speaker of Regional Hluttaw, U Kyi Soe, Deputy-Speaker of Regional Hluttaw, U Aung Thu Ra, Regional Minister for Electricity and Energy, U Hla Htwe, Regional Minister for Natural Resources and Environment, Daw Yi Yi Cho, Regional Minister for Planning and Finance and Vice-Chairman( 1 ), Dr Myint San, Vice-Chairman ( 2 ), Dr. Tin Htoo Naing, Secretary and Committee Members. DSEZ MC နှင့် JICA Myanmar Working Level အစည်းအဝေးကျင်းပခဲ့

ဒုတိယဥက္ကဌ (၂) ဒေါက်တာမြင့်ဆန်းနှင့် အတွင်းရေးမှူး ဒေါက်တာတင်ထူးနိုင် ဦးဆောင်သော ထားဝယ်အထူးစီးပွားရေးဇုန်စီမံခန့်ခွဲမှုကော်မတီဝင်များသည် ဒီဇင်ဘာလ (၁၈) ရက်နေ့ နေ့လည်ပိုင်းတွင် Mr. KON Tetsutaro, Senior Representative ဦးဆောင်သော JICA Myanmar အဖွဲ့အား Online Video Conferencing အသုံးပြု၍ ထားဝယ်အထူးစီးပွားရေးဇုန်ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်ရေးအတွက် ရှေ့ဆက်လက်ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မည့် ကိစ္စရပ်များနှင့်စပ်လျဉ်း၍ ဆွေးနွေးညှိနှိုင်းရန် Working Level အစည်းအဝေး ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ပါသည်။

အစည်းအဝေးတွင် JICA မှထားဝယ်အထူးစီးပွားရေးဇုန်ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်မှုကိုအထောက်အကူပြုစေရန်အတွက် အသစ်ခန့်အပ်ထားသောကျွမ်းကျင်သူနှင့်မိတ်ဆက်ပေးခဲ့ပါသည်။ DSEZ MC မှလည်း JICA မှ အကူအညီပေးမည့် ကျွမ်းကျင်သူနှစ်ဦးအား လက်တွဲလုပ်ဆောင်ရန် ကြိုဆိုခဲ့ပြီး Working Level တွင်ဆောင်ရွက်ရမည့် ကိစ္စရပ်များအား ဆက်လက်ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြပါသည်။

Deputy Minister Dr. Tun Naing, Chairman of Dawei Special Economic Zone Management Committee (DSEZ MC), Ministry of Electricity and Energy received Mr. MARUYAMA Ichiro, Honourable Ambassador of Japan to Myanmar and representatives from Embassy via video conferencing at 2:00 pm on 16th December 2020 where attended by DSEZ MC’s Vice-Chairman (1) Daw Yi Yi Cho, Vice-Chairman (2) Dr. Myint San and Secretary Dr. Tin Htoo Naing.

During the meeting, DSEZ MC Chairman Dr. Tun Naing welcomed the aspiration of the Japanese government to participate in the development of Dawei SEZ through Myanmar-Thailand Joint Coordination Committee (JCC) and Joint High-Level Committee (JHC) that has been organized for the comprehensive development of Dawei Special Economic Zone.

The meeting also discussed matters related to the processes and materialization of Dawei Special Economic Zone Deep Sea Port Development and also Strategic Environmental Assessment to undertake.

အစည်းအဝေးသဘာပတိအဖြစ် ထားဝယ်အထူးစီးပွားရေးဇုန်စီမံခန့်ခွဲမှုကော်မတီ၊ ဥက္ကဌ၊ ဒေါက်တာထွန်းနိုင်မှ ဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့ပြီး အစည်းအဝေးသို့ ထားဝယ်အထူးစီးပွားရေးဇုန်စီမံခန့်ခွဲမှု ကော်မတီမှ ဒုတိယဥက္ကဌ (၁)နှင့် တနင်္သာရီတိုင်းဒေသကြီး စီမံကိန်းနှင့်ဘဏ္ဍာရေးဝန်ကြီး ဒေါ်ရီရီချို၊ ဒုတိယဥက္ကဌ (၂) ဒေါက်တာမြင့်ဆန်း၊ အတွင်းရေးမှူး ဒေါက်တာတင်ထူးနိုင်၊ ဒေါက်တာသီတာဦး၊ အမြဲတမ်းအတွင်းဝန်၊ ပြည်ထောင်စုရှေ့နေချုပ်ရုံးနှင့် ကော်မတီဝင်များ၊ SPV (မြန်မာ) မှ ဒါရိုက်တာအဖွဲ့ဝင်များနှင့် ကိုယ်စားလှယ်များဖြစ်သည့် ဒေါ်ဝင်းဝင်းမော်၊ ဦးဆောင်ညွှန်ကြားရေးမှူး၊ မြန်မာ့ရင်းနှီးမြှုပ်နှံမှုနှင့် ကူးသန်းရောင်းဝယ်ရေးဘဏ်၊ ဦးကျော်ကျော်နိုင်၊ ဒုတိယညွှန်ကြားရေးမှူးချုပ်၊ ပြည်ထောင်စုရှေ့နေချုပ်ရုံး၊ ဒေါက်တာအောင်မိုးချယ်၊ ညွှန်ကြားရေးမှူးချုပ်၊ ရင်းနှီးမြှုပ်နှံမှုနှင့် နိုင်ငံခြားစီးပွားဆက်သွယ်ရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာန၊ အထောက်အကူပြုအဖွဲ့များမှ ဦးဦးဟန်၊ ဒုတိယညွှန်ကြားရေးမှူးချုပ်၊ စီးပွားရေးနှင့်ကူးသန်းရောင်းဝယ်ရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာနနှင့် အဖွဲ့ဝင်များ တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ကြပါသည်။

အစည်းအဝေးတွင် မြန်မာ-ထိုင်း-ဂျပန် ပူးပေါင်းအကောင်အထည်ဖော်ရေးကိစ္စအတွက် ရှေ့လုပ်ငန်းစဉ်များ၊ ကနဦးစီးပွားရေးဇုန် စီမံကိန်းအတွက် ရှေ့ဆက်လက်ဆောင်ရွက်မည့် အခြေအနေများ၊ ထားဝယ်အထူးစီးပွားရေးဇုန်တွင် ရင်းနှီးမြှုပ်နှံရန် စိတ်ပါဝင်စားသည့်ကုမ္ပဏီများမှ တင်ပြလာမှုများ၊ ထားဝယ်အထူးစီးပွားရေးဇုန်အတွင်း တည်ဆောက်ရန်လျာထားသည့် ၂၃၀ ကေဗွီ လျှပ်စစ်ဓာတ်အားခွဲရုံမြေနေရာအတွက် လျှပ်စစ်နှင်စွမ်းအင်ဝန်ကြီးဌာန သို့ မြေနေရာအတည်ပြုပြန်ကြားနိုင်ရေးကိစ္စ၊ ထိုင်းနိုင်ငံ NEDA ချေးငွေဖြင့် ဆောင်ရွက်မည့် ၂-လမ်းသွားကားလမ်း ဖြစ်ပေါ်တိုးတက်မှု အခြေအနေများနှင့် ဂျပန်နိုင်ငံမှ ထားဝယ်ရေနက်စီမံကိန်းအတွက် ဆောင်ရွက်လိုသည့် လေ့လာဆန်းစစ်မှုအခြေအနေများအား ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြပါသည်။

Dawei Special Economic Zone Management Committee (8/2020) Meeting held on 2 December 2020

A video conferencing meeting was held and presided by Dr. Tun Naing, Chairman of the DSEZ MC where it was attended by Daw Yi Yi Cho, Vice-Chairman (1) and Minister for Planning and Finance of Tanintharyi Region Government, Vice-Chairman (2) Dr. Myint San, Secretary Dr. Tin Htoo Naing, Permanent Secretary of UAGO office Dr. Thida Oo, BODs of SPV Myanmar Daw Win Win Maw, MD of MICB, U Kyaw Kyaw Naing, DDG of UAGO, Dr. Aung Moe Chel, DDG of MIFER and members of DSEZ MC.

As per the meeting agenda, it was discussed on the matters related to Myanmar-Thailand-Japan government level joint cooperation on implementation, upcoming activities of the initial phase project to be undertaken, proposals submitted by the companies interested to invest in the Dawei SEZ, land approval confirmation to the Ministry of Electricity and Energy for the 230 kV substation to be built inside Dawei SEZ, work in progress of the development of Thailand’s NEDA Loan 2-Lane road project and also the upcoming activities of the Dawei Deep Sea Port Study to be conducted by JICA of Japan.

Myanmar welcomes Japanese’s desire to join Dawei SEZ Full Phase Implementation in joint cooperation with Thailand.

Dr. Tun Naing, Chairman of Dawei SEZ Management Committee attended the Myanmar-Thailand-Japan Tripartite Working Level Meeting and delivered an opening speech.
