Maidar city LLC was established in 2012 with an aim of constructing a new eco city, Maidar eco city, on southern region of Bogd Khan mountain range in Tuv aimag province, approximately 15 km from the new international airport and 40 км from Ulaanbaatar. The conceptual and comprehensive plans are developed by RS Associated Architects (RSAA) GmbH, based in Cologne, Germany, with partnership agreement with other European urban planning specialized companies.
