“Today marks a major milestone in our fleet modernisation journey as we sign the agreement for two new Twin Otter Classic 300-G aircraft.

From beginning our seaplane operations with just two Twin Otters in 2014 to operating a fleet of 11 today, we have continued to grow and evolve.

These new aircraft will further strengthen our seaplane and wheel-based operations, while building on our longstanding partnership with De Havilland Canada and our shared commitment to innovation, efficiency and operational excellence.”

A new chapter for Island Aviation Services. ✈️🇲🇻

Island Aviation Services Limited has signed an Aircraft Purchase Agreement with De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited for the acquisition of two new Twin Otter Classic 300-G aircraft.

The addition of these two aircraft marks another important step in our fleet modernisation journey, strengthening our seaplane and wheel-based operations while enhancing reliability, operational efficiency and connectivity across the Maldives.
