This is a country which is more sea than land. There, all men are rovers of the sea; all women, daughters of the waves.
There, blue melts into green and azure haziness-pale and pleasant-and melts back into blue.
As the sun sets, an entrancing scene gradually unfolds, which for peaceful picturesqueness and ineffable beauty will be hard to match. A sapphire sea, gently lapping wooded isles of multiplex greens and browns - all, water, land and sky, bathed in a glorious color-flood of mingled hues.
Silhouetted against expensive horizons, green palms toss their heads against the skies…It is a country, which is more sea than land. It is the enchanted Isles of the Maldives.
