Established in 1995 under the entrepreneurship of Mr. Abdullah Saeed, Ocean Enterprises is a versatile company located in the industrial heartland of the Maldives; Malé. Under his prominent leadership, the company saw revolutionary transformations, ranging from their involvement in trade to the hospitality industry of the Maldives. During the initial eight years, Ocean Enterprises specialized in t
he trade of fish products, catering to their international clientele with the highest quality of fish products and reigning supreme amongst their competitors in the Maldivian fisheries industry. The business then expanded into the operation and handling of fishing vessels where the company worked harmoniously with the local fisher folk. In the mean time, the company also operated Maniyafushi, a local island, to practice aquaculture. Ocean Enterprises then extended their trade to the import of sea vessels, supplying to a range of local businesses such as hotels and resorts. In 2008, after the success in trade, Ocean Enterprises diversified its course and ventured into the hospitality industry, by establishing Ocean Holidays as their subsidiary. As a tour operator, Ocean Holidays operated its own luxury safari, offering their clients a unique and invigorating opportunity to explore the Maldives, alongside top-notch service to create a truly exquisite experience
