If you’re planning a visit, try to time it with the equinox. When the pyramid casts a shadow that slithers down the steps like a serpent returning to Earth.
Even without it, Chichén Itzá leaves you speechless. The Maya built this place with myth, math, and meaning. Every clap echoes a sacred bird. Every stone was placed with purpose.
This isn’t just a ruin…it’s a calendar, a temple, a cosmic clock that still ticks.

Clearly we’re very bad at social media.
Honestly, it’s hard trying to post all of the time when we’re too busy soaking up the sights -and smells- of our world travels.
So here’s to us trying to be better at this!

We’ve been living in Mexico for the last few months, and it’s been freakin awesome.
Our lil’ Mil requested this location for her 6th birthday..And what a birthday it was! We hung out with a monkey named Sara 😊 And swam with sea turtles. I’d say it was a great day.
