El Cristo de Ciclon - Christ of the Cyclone in the church of Barra de Navidad. During Hurricane Lily in 1971 all the towns people huddled in the church as Lily made it way on shore. During the storm, the arms on Jesus broke and the hurricane changed course. To this day the chapel holds daily masses under the Cristio de Ciclon
