This massive dolphinfish was caught by Tera Allegri on August 16th, 1993, in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. This 37.5-kilogram (82-pound, 2-ounce) fish is the 2nd largest dolphinfish ever caught by a female angler and currently holds the IGFA Women’s 37-kg (80 lb) Line Class World Record for the species. The record fish ate a trolled lure and was brought to the gaff after a 20-minute battle.

2008-2026, after 17 years, Kane and Becky returned to fish with us. Back then, they fished aboard “Tailchaser Too,” a 35-ft Cabo, with Captain Julian Liquidano Julian LG and deckhand (now Captain) David Liquidano David Martinez Guzman . They shared these beautiful photos from back then with us.Now, in 2026, they returned to fish with us, this time aboard “Tailchaser,” a 48-ft Cabo, fishing for 2 amazing days. On the first day, we caught 7 tunas, the largest weighing 143 pounds, and the others averaging between 50 and 80 pounds. On the second day, 2 striped marlins and 1 blue marlin were released.

Looking back to 2008, Becky shared that out of the 3 days they fished, a total of 47 striped marlins were released, and they caught some small tunas. They were very happy, just as they were on this trip, except now they come in the company of their 2 boys, who also had an unforgettable experience.
Now, with a larger crew, they had the opportunity to meet deckhand Alfonso Alfonso Renteria Ayala and Fernanda Fernanda AN

We are deeply grateful that they came back and had the confidence to allow us to provide them with an incredible family experience.
