La Fonda de las Piñatas has some of the best birria tacos in Cancún. They’re big, juicy, loaded with birria and cheese, and served with consommé for dipping.

Add a cold chelada, b**r served over ice with lime and a salted rim, and settle in. This is lunch done properly.

Playa Mujeres, Costa Mujeres or Isla Mujeres? They sound similar, but getting there from Cancun Airport is very different. 👇

🏝️ Isla Mujeres is an island off the coast of Cancun. You can’t drive there from the airport. You’ll need transportation from Cancun Airport to the Puerto Juárez ferry terminal, then take the passenger ferry to Isla Mujeres.

🚐 Playa Mujeres is on the mainland, north of Cancun, near Punta Sam. You can travel directly from Cancun Airport to your hotel by road. No ferry required.

🌴 Costa Mujeres is also on the mainland, farther north along the coast. It’s home to a growing number of all-inclusive resorts and, like Playa Mujeres, can be reached directly from Cancun Airport.

One important tip: check the exact hotel name on your reservation before booking transportation. “Mujeres” in the name doesn’t necessarily mean you’re staying on Isla Mujeres.

O, como le decimos por aquí: Septhambre. 😅

Menos llegadas, hoteles más tranquilos y un poquito más de espacio en las playas.

Pero aquí seguimos. 💚 Recibiendo viajeros en el aeropuerto, manejando por todo el Caribe Mexicano y contestando la pregunta más importante del camino: “¿Dónde nos recomiendas comer?” 😂

Llevamos más de 23 años viviendo temporadas altas, temporadas bajas y muchas Septhambres.

There’s a new way to get to and from the Cancún Hotel Zone. 💚

The Nichupté Bridge gives travelers another route between downtown Cancún and the Hotel Zone, which is very good news when you’d rather spend your vacation at the beach than sitting in traffic.

Stretching 11.2 km across Nichupté Lagoon, the new bridge has three traffic lanes, including one reversible lane, and connects the Colosio/Kabah area with Kukulcán Boulevard at km 13 in the Hotel Zone.

It’s the second-longest bridge of its kind in Latin America, with a crossing time of around 10 minutes.

And if you’re taking a Happy Shuttle? You don’t need to worry about which way to go. We monitor traffic conditions and choose the best route for your transfer based on the time of day and what’s happening on the roads.

You just enjoy the ride. And, if the Nichupté Bridge is the way to go, soak in some pretty spectacular lagoon views. 🌴
