It’s a national holiday in our house because College Football is BACK 😂 🏈

We LOVE football in this house and will have the games on all weekend long! OU is kicking off their season tonight.

A fun little fact about me, my husband and I were both on the Pride of Oklahoma marching band all 4 years of college, and in my 5th year, I was on staff. I also taught the Pride for another season in 2018!

Here’s to another fun season where football dictates our mood 🤣

My Hot Take: the vacation that I recommend to you in February could be one I completely steer you away from in August 👀 Why?

Because when you travel can matter just as much as where.

Weather. Sargassum. Hurricane season. Flights. Transfers. Crowds. Even which side of an island you stay on can change the experience.

Then I factor in YOU. Your budget, priorities, travel style and what you actually want this vacation to feel like and experience.

That’s why I don’t believe there’s one “best vacation.” Or ‘my best friend went to ____ resort and loved it! I want to go there’. It may not be as good of a fit for you!

There’s a best fit for YOU.

If a vacation is floating around in your head, you don’t need to have anything figured out before messaging me.

I’ve officially decided I need to go back to Curaçao. 😂

I personally stayed here 2 years ago and I swear I think about this island ALL the time. There’s just something about it… the weather, the water, the colorful island… it was so good.

And the best part? Curaçao sits outside the hurricane belt, making it one of my favorites for late summer travel, but it’s also WAY down in the southern Caribbean, so December there = sunshine while you’re freezing. ☀️

Basically… there’s really no bad time to go. And yes, I will happily talk you into it. 😂

Okay, but can we talk about the DREAM Bali trip I’m putting together right now?! 😍🌴

This is one of those itineraries where I’m sitting here thinking… I want to go too!

We’re looking at different hotel options so they can choose the vibe that fits them best, and now I’m piecing together an itinerary with some of the places that are HIGH on the Bali bucket list.

It’s figuring out where to stay, what to see, what experiences are worth adding, and how to make everything flow together so my clients can spend their time enjoying the trip instead of trying to figure it all out themselves.

Bali has been on my travel bucket list for a while now… and planning someone else’s trip there is definitely not helping that 😂

✨ $2 MILLION IN BOOKED TRAVEL ✨

I’m not even sure there are words big enough for this one…

Three years ago, I took a chance on becoming a travel advisor.

Today, I’m celebrating $2 MILLION in booked travel in just 3 years!

But the dollar amount isn't what makes me emotional. It's the people behind it.

The families who trusted me with their vacations. The couples celebrating honeymoons and anniversaries. The parents wanting to make their kids' dreams come true. The clients who came back and trusted me with their next adventure. The friends and family who sent someone my way.

Those are the things I think about when I see that number.

I see every message, every phone call, every resort I’ve researched, every itinerary I’ve put together, every late-night question and every “WE’RE BOOKED!” message.

And I’m just so incredibly grateful.

When I started this journey 3 years ago, I could have never imagined that I would be here today. What started as something I was excited to try has grown into something I genuinely love and feel so lucky to call my career.

$2 MILLION in 3 years.

I’m proud of the number, but I’m even more proud of the relationships behind it. ❤️

Thank you to every single person who has trusted me with their travel, referred me to a friend or family member, shared my posts, cheered me on or simply followed along with this journey.

You have no idea how much it means to me.
