November is becoming a thing of the past, and with it, we leave behind the offerings dedicated to our loved ones who have gone ahead of us. Mexico was painted in the yellow hues of the cempasuchil flower, which adorned our landscapes for nearly a month. We had the chance to visit very creative offerings and altars that paid tribute to Mexican film stars, remarkable women like Sor Juana Inés and Frida Kahlo, and more. At home, we honored our ancestors and prepared their favorite dishes.

However, time doesn’t stop, and now we stand at the doorstep of the Christmas season and the arrival of thousands of Monarch Butterflies. Don’t miss this opportunity—contact us to witness one of the most wonderful natural spectacles in the world!

Time has flown by almost without us noticing. Thanks to the travelers who trusted us to explore Mexico, we’ve enjoyed visiting the Monarch butterflies in the mountains and walking through the colonial streets of San Miguel de Allende, Queretaro, Puebla, and Cuernavaca. We’ve celebrated birthdays and anniversaries with visitors who chose Mexico to marvel at the Monarchs’ flight at 3,000 meters, the majesty of the pyramids, and the rich flavors and colors of Mexican cuisine.

Today is International Tourist Guide Day, and we want to take this opportunity to congratulate all the guides who make each tour a memorable experience, but especially to David, Kelly, Edgar, and Juan, who have helped take the Enroute to Mexico project to new heights.

Thank you very much for showcasing the best of Mexico in a professional and enjoyable manner. For helping first-time visitors feel secure and amazed by everything you show them. Being a tourist guide is a privilege, and we want to honor it by doing our job to the best of our ability on every trip to the pyramids or stroll through the canals of Xochimilco.

November has been a wild ride, but it's now behind us. In this moment of calm, we can't help but thank all the travelers who allowed us to share the Day of the Dead with them. We were fortunate to go further this year to places like Zacatlán de las Manzanas and the states of Oaxaca and Chiapas!

The Day of the Dead confronts us with the only certainty we have: life has an end. But it's precisely because of that that every day is valuable. We're fortunate to dedicate a significant part of our lives to showing our travelers the cultural richness of Mexico along with its beautiful natural landscapes.

We can only strive even more to keep improving so that every day exploring Mexico is memorable because, in the end, all we take with us are our experiences.

I started this project a few years ago to offer travelers who want to visit Mexico the opportunity to explore this fantastic country at their own pace, with complete flexibility and control over their time. I began traveling across the country long before becoming a certified guide, and ever since each trip, I returned eager to share it with more people. It wasn't until I met David Villasana that I realized it was possible to show the best of my country to visitors who wanted to make the most of their time in Mexico.

David Suverza is a highly experienced guide, a platinum award winner in the tourism sector, who has been designing private tours in Mexico for over 20 years. I have learned a great deal from him and from my own experience in the tourism industry, where I have been dedicated for over 5 years now. We now have formed a partnership to promote this project and provide potential travelers with the chance to discover Mexico through private tours with us.

What we offer: Private tours with flexible scheduling. Pick-ups at hotels or the airport in Mexico City. Private transportation with air conditioning. Assistance in designing tours and experiences in Mexico.

Those of us at En route to Mexico are bilingual guides certified by the Mexican Ministry of Tourism. We want to offer a unique and tailor-made way for every traveler to discover Mexico, and we have the experience and plans to ensure it!
