✈️ One of the things I love seeing in the travel industry is progress toward making travel easier for everyone.

Travel can be stressful enough, but for travellers with disabilities, mobility challenges, service animals, autism, ADHD, anxiety, or other non-visible disabilities, there can be additional hurdles that many people never think about.

Air Canada has recently expanded several accessibility initiatives, including:

🌻 The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Program

🐕 A new Cabin-Ready Canines certification program for service dogs

♿ Additional equipment and training to better assist passengers who require mobility support

📋 A new Accessibility Plan developed with input from people with lived experience

As a travel advisor, I know that every traveller’s needs are different. The more options and support available, the more people can travel with confidence.
