Hello out there. it's been a minute! Totally stopped for a few months and now are gearing up to head across the country to catch a World Cup match courtesy of our great friend Rebecca Arriaga. We are so excited to get back on the road for a few weeks. We've begun the process to become residents of Mexico as we are in love with the people, the food and the relaxed way of life here. The lobster village in Puerto Nuevo is amazing, 2 or more lobster tails, beans, rice, fresh huge tortillas and a cocktail for $22! It's a very popular place down here. So much to explore and taste! We're making friends and enjoying the relaxed days and beautiful weather.

And we're back. Spent a few days reconnecting with our villagers in New Orleans. We went our separate way for 10 days. Deb spent time with her daughters in Mississippi and back in New Orleans for Jazz Fest. I headed back west to take one of the grands to Big Bear where it was cold and snowing. It was beautiful there and we saw a lot of wild burros while driving up the mountain. We are spending a few weeks back in San Diego. We did Pride with the Padres for my first major league game. We'll be heading back to Mexico for the next few months. Then to the World Cup in Houston in June and a few more adventures to come. P.S. if you're driving through Tucson stay at The Kennedy. Totally charming old motel. Live bands on the weekend and free arcade.

Took a few days to reset after being on 4 ships for 44 days. We started in Barcelona after getting off the Carnival Dream. We wandered around Barcelona for 3 days. We had some delicious food and found an Arsenal bar. The Michael Collins did not disappoint and its location was directly across the Sagrata Familia. After eating our way around Barcelona we hopped on the MSC World Europa. By far the biggest ship we've ever been on. First stop Marcaille France. Cute villages and great wine. We spent most of the day near St Remy exploring where Van Gogh was in the "insane" asylum for a year. The open markets were fascinating with oysters and truffles. Next stop Genoa. More churches and 13th century villages. Then onto Rome which was crazy crowded and beautiful. We spent the afternoon in St. Peter's Square and people watched from a cafe. Sicily and Malta finished us out. We spent 2 weeks on the MSC before heading back to the USA on the Carnival Dream. It was a great trip and we checked a lot of bucket list items off. Headed to New Orleans for a few days to wrap up a few loose ends. But, we are looking forward to getting back to Mexico and settling down for a while. A few more adventures await in the next few months so follow along!

Hello out there! Quick update as we finally hit dry land after 15 days. We were offered a great deal on a Transatlantic cruise over to Europe just before Christmas so this trip came together very quickly. We stopped in Bermuda and saw a glass beach and a Portuguese man of war and survived the triangle. Next, Gibraltar and saw "The Big Rock" and the Barbary macaques and St Michaels cave. Stopped in Malaga and Alicante. More of those at another time. We also love the Europe sailing as we can watch our Arsenal play at the sports bar! We are now in Barcelona for a few days and then headed to France and Italy on the Mediterranean side. Bucket list stops for both of us. Looking forward to tapas, pastas and carafes of Bordeaux!

It's been a whirlwind few months. We left San Diego and headed back to Texas to take a Journey cruise to Aruba, Curacao, Columbia, Panama and over to Mexico. Aruba and Curacao were beautiful countries. Columbia and Colon Panama not so much. Had our New Orleans King Cake delivered to San Diego. Can't take the new Orleans out of the girls. We're headed to Baja tomorrow to scout out the area for possibly settling down in a few months. We're headed out on big adventures after that. We're both very excited to share that journey! Stay tuned!

It's been a busy month of December! We started our road trip out west with a stop in Tombstone Arizona. What an interesting little town it is. So much history and sorrow in those streets. The Boothill cemetery is a history lesson all its own. We never knew the world's largest rose bush is located there. It was planted in late 1800's and still blooms today. Spent the holidays with family. We also went up to Julian California for some delicious apple pie and ciders. Had some delicious wine in Temecula wine county. Such a beautiful place.Good food and lots of smiles. Busy right now doing medical tourism in Mexico. Starting the New Year heading to Central America on a cruise. Going to be a busy few months of travel in 2026!
