More good news for CMH travelers!

JetBlue is coming back to Columbus!

Starting November 3, 2026, JetBlue will offer daily nonstop service between CMH and Fort Lauderdale (FLL). It's their first time flying out of Columbus since 2008, and we couldn't be more excited to welcome them home.

Beyond the obvious appeal of South Florida sunshine, this route opens up easy onward connections to the Caribbean and South America, giving you a whole new world of warm-weather destinations within reach.

This island is exclusively for those sailing on MSC. We visited a few years ago and had to leave early due to bad weather (we were even wearing hoodies!) but this time was different. The weather was perfect and we spent a lovely day relaxing on the beach and snorkeling 🤿

Paradise Beach Club

I’ve been to a few beach clubs on the island, but ultimately decided on Paradise Beach because of the water activities for the kids and snorkeling right off the pier. We all really enjoyed our day there! A+

For Spring Break this year, we booked MSC’s newest and largest ship, the World America. In all honesty, the itinerary didn’t excite us too much, but the ship itself caught our attention. I mean, this is the first ship at sea that has an Eataly on board! I was a little hesitant to board a ship that can accommodate 6,700 passengers, but it really didn’t feel any more crowded than any other ship we’ve been on. And that includes cruising at peak times like spring break and Christmas.
There were a lot of activities to keep the kids entertained and happy. We also enjoyed the dining options on this ship and never really got bored with the selection. Overall, the food was very good! The adults even got into the speakeasy, which is a back room secret venue that requires a reservation.

Our grand finale was a thrilling adventure to Xolximilco, a lively nighttime cultural fiesta inspired by Mexico City’s iconic Xochimilco canals. Picture this: gliding through vibrant waterways in a kaleidoscope of colorful, traditional boats known as trajineras. The journey is a sensory delight, complete with live music, an open bar featuring tequila, and a sumptuous traditional Mexican dinner. It’s a high-energy party that promises unforgettable memories. While the little ones are welcome, Xolximilco might be best suited for adults seeking a spirited night out - see the last picture for final results 😂

Do you want to experience the most insane brunch ever? The Brunch Dominical at Hotel Xcaret Mexico offers an incredible experience fit for food lovers, where dining takes place inside a stunning cave!

Upon arrival, I settled in with my first glass of Moet and embarked on a delightful 10-minute exploration of the buffet. The options were truly endless: sushi, foie gras, caviar, black truffle egg and pasta dishes, a seafood bar, a dedicated cheese room, and a wide array of Mexican delights like handmade tortillas and impressively large peppers. And, of course, the dessert selection was simply divine!

Although this brunch isn’t part of the all-inclusive package, it’s available for select room categories and suites. While it’s a splurge, for any passionate foodie, it’s an unforgettable experience worth every penny!
