Mondays are rough… 😩🌴

Somehow we’re surviving. Pool? Check. Beach? Check. Drinks? Definitely. 🍹😂

Today’s office is Perfect Day at CocoCay, and productivity is currently at an all-time low.

Star of the Seas and Celebrity Beyond are both hanging out with us today, so apparently even the ships called out of work. 🚢🏝️

🦆🛳️ **The duck crew is almost ready!**

Our **Star of the Seas cruise • August 23–30** is getting close, and we've somehow ended up with **about 200 cruise ducks** ready to come along with us. 😂

Some are printed, some are themed, some are completely random — and they'll all be looking for new homes during the cruise!

We'll be sharing some of the duck prep before we leave and hopefully a few sightings and adventures from onboard. 🌊

For our fellow cruise-duck people: **Are you sailing with us?** Let us know if you'll be hiding or hunting too!

And if you've never heard of cruise ducks before… stick around. You're probably going to be seeing quite a few of them. 😂🦆

🌊🐦 So… Where Did “SeaGale” Come From?

We figured it was time for a little introduction — especially for everyone who’s joined us recently!

The name SeaGale Adventures started as a bit of wordplay.

🌊 “Sea” comes from our love of cruising, travel and being out exploring.

🐦 “Gale” is a play on seagull — but there’s another reason for it too. Gale is how my last name is pronounced, even though it’s spelled differently. Put the two together and SeaGale was born!

Naturally, we needed a face for the name, so Gale the Seagull became our slightly mischievous mascot and the star of many of our adventures.

And you’ll occasionally see SeaSea alongside him — Gale’s partner-in-adventure, inspired by Angela and given a name that just seemed to fit perfectly into the SeaGale world. 💙

So what can you expect here?

🖨️ 3D Printing & Making — fun prints, useful creations, experiments, time-lapses and some original SeaGale projects we’re beginning to develop.

🚢 Cruising & Travel — ships, destinations, food, reviews, tips and plenty of things we learn along the way.

🦆 Cruise Ducks & Giveaways — because apparently owning 3D printers means we now travel with a small army of things to hide and give away.

🎥 Behind the Adventures — the good ideas, questionable ideas, successes, failures and whatever else we get ourselves into.

SeaGale isn’t just about the few weeks a year we’re traveling. It’s about making things, going places and having some fun along the way.

📱🚢 8 DAYS UNTIL WE SAIL — TECH CHECK!

Today’s cruise-prep mission: get your travel tech ready!

📲 Update your apps — Cruise line, airline, hotel and any other travel apps. Make sure you’re logged in NOW so you’re not resetting passwords on travel day!

🎬 Plan your offline entertainment — Download movies, shows, music, podcasts or audiobooks for the trip. Just remember some streaming downloads expire after a certain amount of time, so check before downloading everything too early.

🔌 Check those charging cables! Phones, watches, tablets, headphones, cameras, e-readers…make sure every device has the correct cable and charger packed.

🔋 Power banks — Get them charged and ready too, especially for long travel and port days.

📶 And don’t forget — download anything you may want before you’re relying on ship Wi-Fi!

We'll be hiding our 3D printed ducks all around the ship for lucky cruisers to discover. Every duck has its own adventure, and you never know where one might show up!
