🇵🇪We’re wrapping up another incredible Peru adventure!

Over the last 12 days our guests climbed to high passes, slept under the stars, walked through the Sun Gate to Machu Picchu, ate delicious Peruvian cuisine, laughed until our ribs hurt, and dived head first into this generous, beautiful culture that is PERU.

Our group arrived into Cusco as strangers, and left as trail family. We love how big adventures tend to bring people closer, and that definitely happened on this trip.

We’re forever grateful for our clients (now friends) who choose to trust us with their international adventures. We love you, and we hope to see you again soon…in some country, on some trail, at some campsite, with those big smiles on your faces.

Peru never ceases to amaze! Our group is in Cusco and the Sacred Valley enjoying all of the sites, the hiking, the food, and the hospitality of this beautiful country.

One of the questions we hear most often is:

“But...what if I don’t know anyone?”

The truth is, almost everyone starts that way.

They arrive on a new country as strangers, a little nervous, wondering if they’ll fit in. Then something funny happens.

You share snacks on a long hiking trail. You cheer each other on up a steep climb. You laugh over the day’s misadventures. You celebrate seeing wildlife on a dive. You swap stories over dinner. Somewhere between the blisters, the sunsets, and the countless “Can you take our picture?” moments... strangers become friends.

Adventure has a way of breaking down walls. Maybe it’s because everyone is outside their comfort zone. Maybe it’s because shared challenges create fast friendships. Whatever the reason, it’s one of our favorite parts of every trip.

These photos aren’t just people traveling together. They’re people finding their people.

So if you’ve been waiting until you have someone to travel with, consider this your reminder: you don’t have to.

For 97 unforgettable miles, we’ll follow ancient paths through misty glens, across wild moorlands, alongside shimmering lochs, and into the heart of the Scottish Highlands. This is our Comfort Tour, meaning you’ll hike approximately 7–13 miles each day while your luggage is transferred ahead to your next accommodation. You get all the magic of a long-distance trail without carrying your entire life on your back.

Some places stay with you forever.

Egypt is one of them.

It’s the kind of destination where you find yourself whispering, “Is this real?” as the sun rises over ancient temples, golden light spills across the Nile, and the pyramids stand exactly as they’ve for thousands of years.

Been waiting on a high altitude trek with no crowds, intense challenges, and views that will remind you how small you are?

Look no further than the Huayhuash Trek of Peru. This remote, cold, high altitude, 8 day adventure will challenge (and reward) even the toughest trekkers.

Our trekkers are currently taking on day 3 of the 8 day Huayhuash trek and the views, trail camaraderie, and remoteness of this trek are unparalleled. But we recommend acting fast, as this trail is growing in popularity and won’t be a sparsely populated trail forever!

Our adventurous travelers are in Huaraz—the trekking and mountaineering capital of Peru! Today they took on an acclimatization hike to Laguna Wilcacocha (~12,250ft). The views of the Cordillera Blanca from the top are hard for pictures to fully capture. The Cordillera Blanca is home to many beautiful peaks, including the tallest peak in Peru—Huascaran (over 22,000 ft). At the lake we saw beautiful Andean ducks with blue bills. Our team provided an awesome lunch for us at the lake with Peruvian cuisine to fuel us for more hiking this week!

Tomorrow we depart for the 8 day Huayhuash Circuit—considered one of the most remote and beautiful treks in the world. Stay tuned for photos and updates!

Join us June 17-29, 2027 for our annual Tour du Mont Blanc! Few treks in the world match the scenery, the accommodations, and the trail culture of the TMB. Hike ~100 miles through France, Italy, and Switzerland over 10 days.

This journey is considered the “Comfort Tour”, and while this trek is a challenge, we do it with some added comforts like luggage transfers, cozy hotel and refugio stays, and 3 delicious meals a day provided for you.
