CMC was proud to participate in the Selangor Career Outreach (SCOUT) @ Universiti Teknologi MARA – Rail Industry Programme, organised by Invest Selangor Berhad, on Thursday, 25 June 2026.

Our Chief Executive Officer, En. Hazwan Alif Dato’ Abdul Rahman, had the honour of serving as one of the invited speakers and panellists, sharing valuable insights on career pathways, emerging industry trends, and the skills and qualities employers look for in today’s graduates. The session provided students with a deeper understanding of the opportunities and expectations within the rail and engineering industries.

In conjunction with the programme, CMC also participated in the career exhibition, where our team had the opportunity to engage directly with students, introduce our organisation, and share internship and career opportunities across our railway, renewable energy, telecommunications, and infrastructure businesses.

On 24 June 2026, CMC had the privilege of hosting VentureTECH delegation for a strategic engagement session in Kota Bharu, followed by a site visit to our LSS5 large-scale solar power plant construction site in Tok Bali, Kelantan.

The session provided an opportunity to share CMC’s current performance, business outlook and value-creation roadmap, while demonstrating our on-ground ex*****on capability in power and energy infrastructure.

LSS5 represents CMC’s growing capability across the power infrastructure value chain, from project development and engineering coordination to construction delivery, grid interface, stakeholder management and long-term asset operations. This capability also supports our broader focus in mission-critical infrastructure, including railway power supply systems, utility works, distribution automation and renewable energy assets.

Equally important, the visit reaffirmed our commitment to a strong HSE culture, upheld from leadership to site teams and workers. Safe ex*****on remains central to how we deliver projects and build long-term trust with clients, partners and stakeholders.

We thank VentureTech Malaysia for their continued support as a strategic investor and value-creation partner, as CMC continues strengthening its business fundamentals, ex*****on capacity and long-term enterprise value.

As Malaysia accelerates the adoption of renewable energy, successful rooftop solar PV implementation requires strong engineering, project ex*****on, and power systems capabilities.

CMC is pleased to be delivering rooftop solar PV projects for commercial & industrial buildings and government facilities, reflecting our continued commitment to supporting the wider adoption of clean energy solutions.

For CMC, these initiatives represent an important step in the continued expansion of our Power & Renewable Energy portfolio. Beyond our established capabilities in mission-critical railway power systems, substations, and telecommunications infrastructure, they further demonstrate our ability to deliver renewable energy EPCC solutions across the infrastructure value chain.

Together with our utility-scale solar development initiatives, including the 9.9MWac Large Scale Solar Plant under LSS5, we remain committed to delivering reliable, high-quality power infrastructure through strong engineering and ex*****on excellence.
