ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION BETWEEN TANJUNG LANGSAT PORT (TLP), ROYAL MALAYSIAN CUSTOMS DEPARTMENT, AND THE LIQUID PORT TENANTS ON MANIFEST PROCESSING FOR VESSEL DEPARTURE CLEARANCE

29 Apr 2026 – TLP organised a roundtable discussion involving the Royal Malaysian Customs Department and liquid port tenants to discuss matters related to manifest processing for vessel departure clearance.

This initiative was aimed at fostering a common understanding of vessel clearance and manifest processing procedures to enhance operational efficiency and ensure a smoother clearance process, ultimately creating positive value for the port community and all relevant stakeholders.

The discussion was chaired by Captain Aidil Azwad, General Manager of Marine and Liquid Operations (MLO) Department, TLP.
The Port extends its appreciation to the Royal Malaysian Customs Department and all participating liquid port tenants for their valuable participation and support in making the session productive and meaningful.

DEFENCE SERVICES ASIA (DSA) 2026

22 April 2026 – Tanjung Langsat Port (TLP) attended the Defence Services Asia Exhibition and Conference 2026, one of Asia’s largest and most well-organised defence and homeland security exhibitions, showcasing advanced technologies, systems, hardware, and electronic warfare solutions from around the world.

The 19th edition of DSA 2026 was held from 20 to 23 April 2026 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur.

TLP’s participation reflects our continuous efforts to explore new opportunities for strategic collaboration in port operations, logistics and supply chain solutions within the defense and maritime sectors.

We look forward to building meaningful partnerships and participating in future events.

TANJUNG LANGSAT PORT (TLP) AT FMFF & JOFFA INDUSTRY ENGAGEMENT

18 Apr 2026 – Tanjung Langsat Port (TLP) was honored to participate as a presenter at an industry engagement session jointly organized by the Federation of Malaysian Freight Forwarders (FMFF) and the Johor Freight Forwarders Association (JOFFA).

This engagement provided a valuable platform for TLP to share current market perspectives, regional trade dynamics, and emerging opportunities within the maritime and logistics sector. TLP also highlighted its integrated port infrastructure, strategic location within the Johor maritime corridor, and its commitment to delivering efficient, reliable, and future-ready port services to support industry growth.

The session, held at Novotel Johor Bahru, was well attended by key stakeholders across the nationwide freight forwarding and logistics ecosystem, including Sarawak, Sabah & Labuan representatives. The interactive discussions and knowledge-sharing throughout the event reflect the strong spirit of collaboration within the industry.

PORT COMMUNITY DIALOGUE: IMPACT OF THE MIDDLE EAST CONFLICT ON THE PORTS & LOGISTICS SECTOR IN JOHOR

14 Apr 2026 – Tanjung Langsat Port (TLP) was honoured to participate as a stakeholder in the Port Community Dialogue organised by Lembaga Pelabuhan Johor (LPJ), which focused on assessing the impact of the ongoing Middle East conflict on the ports and logistics ecosystem in Johor.

The dialogue convened port operators, relevant government agencies, and industry associations to deliberate on potential operational, regulatory, and supply chain implications arising from the situation. The session provided a platform for stakeholders to exchange views, assess risks, and identify mitigating measures to ensure continued resilience and efficiency within the sector.

The industry collectively expressed its hope for a prompt and peaceful resolution to the conflict, with the expectation that global trade flows and economic stability will be restored and further strengthened.
