• 1963 – TRAINEES SENT ABROAD FOR HELICOPTER TRAINING.
• 1970 – 5 YEARS TRAINING PROGRAMME AGREEMENT WITH SOUTH EAST ASIA HELICOPTER (SEA HELICOPTER) FOR RMAF PILOTS.
• 1974 – FORMATION OF NO 2 FTC.
– 6 x BELL 47G AND 4 x ALO III.
– KUALA LUMPUR AIRBASE.
• 1978 – NO 2 FTC WAS RE-LOCATED TO RMAF KLUANG, JOHOR.
• 1995 – NO 2 FTC WAS RE-LOCATED TO AIR FORCE COLLEGE ALOR SETAR.
