A rare sighting in Kinabatangan! 👀 Meet the Helmeted Hornbill, a Critically Endangered bird known for its distinctive near-solid casque, a feature unlike that of other hornbills.

The Kinabatangan River is one of Sabah’s top wildlife destinations, with forests that are home to all 8 of Borneo’s hornbill species, alongside orangutans, proboscis monkeys, Bornean elephants and plenty more.

Keep your eyes on the treetops. You never know what might appear! 🔭
