Genting Casino is one of the most popular evening activity venues in Genting Highlands, where you can test your luck at winning a massive pay-out. Established in 1971 by Resorts World Genting's founder, Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong, the casino was the first land-based casino in Malaysia, and has continuously attracted thousands of visitors from across the world.

Arena of Stars in Genting Highlands has played host to hundreds of international concerts, performances and competitions ever since it was built back in 1998, making it one of the most prominent events venues in Malaysia. Set in front of Resorts World Genting, this fully-roofed amphitheatre is equipped with state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems, and can accommodate up to 6,000 people at a time.
Some of the world’s biggest artists who have performed at Arena of Stars include Boyz II Men, Leona Lewis, Deep Purple, Michael Learns to Rock, and Lionel Richie, as well as Jolin Tsai, S.H.E, Joey Yung, Stefanie Sun, Vanness Wu, G.E.M, and Twins. Genting Strawberry Leisure Farm is a family-friendly attraction in Genting Highlands, where you can spend an afternoon exploring its many colourful fruit farms and flower gardens. Set within Bandar Gohtong Jaya, it’s accessible within a six-minute drive from the Genting Premium Outlets and Awana Skyway cable car station.
One of its most picturesque features is the Lavender Garden, which is fitted with unique fountains surrounded by blooming lavender flowers. Various kiosks can be found throughout the farm, selling honey, cactus, clothing, soft toys and souvenirs, while visitors feeling a bit peckish can enjoy simple dishes at the onsite strawberry-themed restaurant. Open daily, entrance fees are priced at RM10 for adult visitors and RM7 for children below 12 years old.

Genting Skyway is one of the two cable car systems serving Genting Highlands, travelling between Gohtong Jaya and the peak of the highlands. While Awana Skyway serves as the main method of transportation, Genting Skyway operates when the former undergoes maintenance and during busy periods, such as weekends and public or school holidays.

Throughout the 3.4 km-long journey, the gondola-style cable car offers breathtaking views of numerous landmarks within the highlands, including a 120-million-year-old rainforest, SkyAvenue Shopping Mall, Chin Swee Caves Temple and the upcoming 20th Century Fox Malaysia Theme Park. Depending on weather conditions, you’ll reach the Highlands Station within 15 to 20 minutes. As this is a famous hill station the air is crisper at this elevation and you can check out the mountains as well as acres of unspoilt rainforests

After completing the building of Genting Highlands Resort in 1975, which at that time was just a hotel with a small casino, Lim Goh Tong began construction of the temple. With the same dedication that he demonstrated in developing the Genting Highlands Resort, the late Lim began by gathering a group of friends many of whom were from his own Anxi clan and ancestry village of Penglai in Fujian Province of China, and established the Chin Swee Temple Society. Always leading by example, the late Lim began a donation drive by contributing a 28-acre land for the construction of the temple. In addition, his companies Resorts World Bhd and Genting Berhad made a cash donation of RM8.1 million for the building fund.The late Lim was elected as the Chairman of the society while his son, Lim Kok Thay was appointed as its Deputy Chairman.

The temple was erected for the Taoist community in this part of Malaysia and it is dedicated to Reverend Master Chin Swee which was a famous religious leader in the Genting Highlands.

It is said that the master could exorcise spirits and could also bring rain to the area if farmers needed help with their parched crops.

When you visit the temple make sure to look out for the black statue of Chin Swee himself that adorns the front entrance.
