IMAN EVI SDN BHD is a fully owned Bumiputera company specializing in audio video production, marketing, sales and Islamic product development. The company also offers marketing and distribution services for products related to Islamic and education. The original idea of this company's set up was visualised by Mujahid Abd Wahab after returning from his Umrah pilgrimage in 2012. Mujahid saw the pote
ntial of bringing Islamic products including music and education to another level involving strong traditional values of marketing, sales and retailing. He then shared the idea with his assistant, Azalinor (a member of nasyid group Saujana) and a businessman and former friend, Hasyim Ngadiman. After 2 years of planning, discussions and considerations of options and possibilities, the company was officially registered in Jan 2014 under name IMAN EVI SDN BHD. The Name IMAN EVI :
IMAN is an arabic/malay word meaning Faith while EVI is a turkish word meaning house/home. The word IMAN EVI can simply be translated as House of Faith or RUMAH IMAN in Bahasa Malaysia. Hasyim was previously the Co-founder and Managing Director of Hijjaz Records Sdn Bhd. Hijjaz Biotech and Hijjaz Studio before leaving the music industry scene to pursue his interest in the food, biotech and supplement products. During the year 2000-2007, Hijjaz Records best selling albums were Kasih Kekasih and Impian Kasih 'by Inteam; UNIC 'You and I See' and See You di IPT; Hijjaz's Pelita Hidup and Munif Ahmad's Penawar Hati. These albums had achieved multiple awards including platinum awards for sales of more than 50,000 copies each. Mujahid was the assistant producer for the multi-platinum sales album of Raihan entitled Puji Pujian that was released in 1997. Later in 1998, when he was 21 years old, he formed a group called Nowseeheart and released an album entitled Wahyu Pertama. Nowseeheart won the award for best new group category in 1998 and best vocal group 2 years later in Anugerah Industri Muzik (AIM), Malaysia’s most prestigious music award recognition. Since then, Mujahid has produced numerous albums and singles for Malaysian and Indonesian artistes and helped developed them into multi platinum artistes such as Dato Siti Nurhaliza, Ziana Zain, Aizat Amdan, Hijjaz, Saujana, Snada, Malaysian legendary band – Alleycats, Youtube sensation Ana Raffali,Hujan, Aizat Amdan and his proudest achievement was with 6ixth Sense, Malaysia’s local rock band. He was the executive producer and producer for 6ixth Sense's 3 million download sales album entitled“+-x/”. In 2013 when the Ring Back Tones (RBT) were declining, Indonesian band ST12’s Putih-Putih Melati achieved an exceptional download sales. In just a span of 10 months, Putih-Putih Melati achieved 2 million download RBT sales. Another Indonesian artiste Astrid’s “Tentang Rasa” became the most popular RBT downloads for two consecutive years for the Female Pop Category. Organization Chart
