π§οΈ Container rain can damage dry cargo.
When warm, moisture-laden air inside a container meets cooler surfaces, condensation can form on the roof and walls causing water droplets to fall onto cartons, bags and pallets.
Reduce the risk by:
β
Loading only dry cargo and packaging
β
Inspecting the container for leaks and dampness
β
Using suitable desiccants, liners or moisture barriers
β
Considering temperature changes along the journey
Moisture control starts before the container doors close.
