5 Mei 2026: Pengarah Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia (JBPM) Negeri Selangor, YS Datoโ Wan Md Razali bin Wan Ismail, telah mengadakan kunjungan hormat ke Ibu Pejabat Lembaga Pelabuhan Kelang (LPK) hari ini. Ketibaan delegasi disambut mesra oleh Pengurus Besar LPK, YBhg. Datoโ Kapten K. Subramaniam, serta wakil-wakil pengurusan dari Westports, Northport, dan Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ).
Kunjungan ini merupakan sesi libat urus strategik bagi memperkukuh kerjasama sedia ada, di samping menjadi platform perbincangan mengenai penambahbaikan aspek keselamatan kebakaran di seluruh fasiliti pelabuhan.
Delegasi seterusnya dibawa meninjau infrastruktur keselamatan di terminal Westports sebelum mengakhiri lawatan dengan taklimat teknikal di Vessel Traffic Management System (VTMS). Sesi ini memberikan pendedahan mendalam mengenai mekanisme pemantauan trafik perkapalan dan koordinasi logistik yang menjadi tunjang operasi Pelabuhan Klang. Semoga jalinan kerjasama ini terus diperkasa demi melindungi aset strategik negara dan menjamin kesejahteraan komuniti maritim.

5 May 2026: The Director of the Selangor State Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM), YS Datoโ Wan Md Razali bin Wan Ismail, conducted a courtesy visit to the Port Klang Authority (PKA) Headquarters today. The delegation was warmly received by the General Manager of PKA, YBhg. Datoโ Captain K. Subramaniam, and management representatives from Westports, Northport, and Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ).
This visit serves as a strategic engagement session to strengthen existing cooperation and provide a platform for discussing the enhancement of fire safety aspects across all port facilities.
The delegation then proceeded to inspect the safety infrastructure at the Westports terminal before concluding the visit with a technical briefing at the Vessel Traffic Management System (VTMS). This session provided profound insights into shipping traffic monitoring mechanisms and logistics coordination, which are the backbone of Port Klangโs operations. It is hoped that this synergy will continue to be empowered to safeguard national strategic assets and ensure the well-being of the maritime community.
