✈️ Guide to the New In-flight Battery Carry-on Regulations (Effective April 20, 2026)

🔋 1. Carry-on Standards for Power Banks
100Wh or less: Up to 2 allowed
100~160Wh: Up to 2 allowed after prior airline approval and attaching a yellow sticker
Over 160Wh: Prohibited ❌

🔋 2. Carry-on Standards for Replacement (Spare) Batteries
100Wh or less: Up to 5 allowed
100~160Wh: Up to 2 allowed
Over 160Wh: Prohibited ❌
(💡 Note: 100Wh is roughly equivalent to a 27,000mAh capacity, which is commonly used. Please check the back of your battery!)

📱 3. Regulations for Other Electronic Devices
E-cigarettes: Must be kept on your person with the power turned off.
Cordless hair straighteners/irons (high-heat devices): Allowed only if the battery can be detached from the main unit.

⚠️ Important Common Precautions (Same as before)
Charging and using power banks in-flight is strictly prohibited.
To prevent short circuits, terminals must be covered with tape or the battery must be stored in an individual plastic bag.
All power banks are strictly prohibited in checked baggage and must be carried with you in the cabin.

For a safe and comfortable flight, please double-check your battery capacity before packing your bags! ☁️💙
