HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS THE SULTAN OF PERAK GRACED LUMUT PORT’S 30TH ANNIVERSARY DINNER
IPOH, 9 January 2026 — Lumut Port was deeply honoured by the gracious presence of His Royal Highness the Sultan of Perak Darul Ridzuan, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah Al-Maghfur-Lah, and Her Royal Highness the Raja Permaisuri of Perak, Tuanku Zara Salim, who graced the Lumut Port 30th Anniversary Dinner held at Dewan Galasa Caldwell.
The presence of Their Royal Highnesses added great distinction to this historic occasion, marking three decades of Lumut Port’s journey since its establishment in 1995, rom a modest bulk terminal into a strategic port that has made significant contributions to the economic development of the State of Perak.
The prestigious evening was further honoured by the attendance of YAB Dato’ Seri Saarani bin Mohamad, Menteri Besar of Perak, senior state officials, industry partners, and the management and employees of Lumut Port.
In his royal address, Chief Executive Officer of Lumut Maritime Terminal, YBhg. Dato’ Haji Mubarak Ali bin Gulam Rasul, expressed his sincere appreciation for the continuous support from all stakeholders and reflected on Lumut Port’s transformation journey, particularly following the implementation of its strategic business plan in 2015, which became a key catalyst for the port’s sustainable growth.
The dinner was further elevated by a series of exclusive performances featuring the Reqa String Orchestra, a captivating violin recital by Akmal Daniel, and a special vocal performance by Anuar Zain, creating an atmosphere of elegance and prestige throughout the evening.
The event also witnessed the presentation of appreciation awards to Lumut Port’s industry partners and employees in recognition of their loyalty and continuous contributions from 1995 to 2025.
