We are incredibly proud to share a special initiative close to our hearts. Group J&J Mozambique (JJB, IBLT, BLT & ST) recently hosted a wheelchair donation initiative, providing life-changing mobility to six wonderful children aged between 7 and 13 years old (five girls and one boy).

For children living with physical disabilities, a wheelchair is so much more than just equipment—it is a gateway to independence, education, healthcare, and social activities. It also provides much-needed relief to the dedicated caregivers who support them every single day.

In celebration of World Environment Day, our Group Mozambique entities (JJB, Independent Beira Logistics Terminals & Services, Beira Logistics Terminals, and Specialized Transport) teamed up with the Beira community for a massive coastal clean-up at Biques Beach!

It was an incredible day of action, bringing together around 200 participants from across the public, private, and civil society sectors—including 20 proud representatives from Group J&J. From local government authorities and businesses to academic institutions and community leaders, the turnout truly showed the power of a shared vision.

The Impact:
💪 12 TONNES of waste collected (filling two 6-cubic-meter containers!)
🍾 The majority of the waste consisted of glass bottles and mixed waste.
🤝 Strengthened community ties and a renewed commitment to sustainability.

This initiative is a powerful reminder that effective solid waste management and environmental protection require teamwork. A huge thank you to everyone who rolled up their sleeves to protect our beautiful coastline!
