This was more than just another fishing trip on the beautiful Zambezi River. It was an adventure with a meaningful story behind it.

This particular trip was raffled to raise funds in support of a very special little girl, Alyssa, who is living with a rare genetic condition known as MPS I โ€“ Hurler Syndrome. ๐Ÿ’œ



What is MPS?

Mucopolysaccharidosis (MPS) is a group of rare inherited disorders in which the body cannot properly break down certain complex sugars, known as glycosaminoglycans (GAGs).

Over time, these substances accumulate in the bodyโ€™s cells, tissues and organs, causing progressive damage that can affect the heart, bones, vision, breathing, growth and development.

Itโ€™s a condition many people have never even heard of, yet for families like Alyssaโ€™s, it is a daily reality.

๐Ÿ’œ Every little bit of support can make a difference.
