The Blood Transfusion Service of Namibia (NAMBTS) will host a blood donation clinic at Coastal Couriers Swakopmund on Thursday, 30 July 2026, from 09:00 to 15:30.

Blood donations tend to decline during the winter months as many potential donors experience seasonal illnesses such as colds or flu.

With only 1% of Namibians donating blood each year, NAMBTS relies heavily on the generosity and cooperation of individuals and organisations to maintain a safe and sufficient blood supply for those in need.
