Whether it’s coming or going, moving cargo is an intricate art. On the ramp, ground handling requires absolute precision and the highest standards of safety.

Last week, we provided seamless ground handling support at Walvis Bay International Airport for the magnificent Boeing 747 freighter carrying over 75 000kg of On-Site Inspection (OSI) equipment.

A massive operation for the airport and one that we are proud to be apart of.

Lubrication Specialists hosted a corporate padel tournament for its marine industry clients on Saturday. The event brought together 16 teams for a day of friendly competition and networking, organised primarily to show appreciation for client support across the marine sector.

Prizes were awarded across several categories. The overall tournament winners also received a N$5,000 prize for a charity that they choose to donate to Erongo Social Services. Speaking at the event, Nazeem Stuart, General Manager of Lubrication Specialists, thanked the participants and outlined plans to make the tournament an annual fixture.

"Next year we would like to involve other companies in the marine industry to also contribute to the charity prizes, so that we can plough back more support and funds into our community upliftment initiatives," Stuart said.
