Meet the Rent-A-Drum Manco Team.

As industries become more complex, businesses need service partners who understand the operation behind the waste. That means reliability, responsiveness, technical understanding, environmental responsibility and the ability to adapt as requirements change.

The future of environmental services will be built on partnerships that go beyond a collection schedule.

That is the direction we are building towards at Rent-A-Drum.

Some waste streams cannot be conventionally recycled. That does not automatically mean their only destination is disposal.

Where material is suitable, recovery pathways such as Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) can create alternative uses for non-recyclable waste while reducing dependence on landfill.

The first step is always understanding the material and the correct pathway for it.

That is what future-focused waste management is about: making better use of resources wherever responsible recovery is possible.

A great day on the green. An even greater impact. ⛳

The Rent-A-Drum Invitational Golf Day brought together golfers, sponsors and partners for a day of friendly competition, great company and, most importantly, a shared purpose.

We were proud to support Side by Side Early Intervention Centre as this year’s beneficiary, helping contribute to the meaningful work they do for children and families in Namibia.

A heartfelt thank you to our sponsors, players and everyone who contributed to making this day a success. Your support and generosity are what make initiatives like this possible, and we are grateful to have you alongside us.

At Rent-A-Drum, we believe that making a difference goes beyond the services we provide. It is also about showing up for our communities and supporting causes that matter.

Thank you for being part of a day that was about more than golf.

Together, we can make a meaningful difference.

Some waste streams cannot be conventionally recycled. That does not automatically mean their only destination is disposal.

Where material is suitable, recovery pathways such as Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) can create alternative uses for non-recyclable waste while reducing dependence on landfill. Rent-A-Drum is the only company in Namibia that can offer waste to energy solutions.

The first step is always understanding the material and the correct pathway for it.

That is what future-focused waste management is about: making better use of resources wherever responsible recovery is possible.

Meet Fiola Tyers, our Sales Administrator and an important part of the Rent-A-Drum Commercial Team.

Since joining Rent-A-Drum in August 2024, Fiola has become a key part of the team, supporting everything from tenders and quotations to the day-to-day commercial processes that keep things moving.

For Fiola, no two days are the same and she wouldn’t have it any other way. She describes working at Rent-A-Drum as “organised chaos”, where changing deadlines, unexpected requests and busy schedules have taught her to adapt, prioritise and keep moving forward.

What she enjoys most? Supporting her team. And one of her proudest moments is seeing a tender she has worked on come back with those all-important words: “awarded.”

Beyond the office, Fiola enjoys spending time on the farm a place where she can slow down, switch off and enjoy some quiet time.

When asked to describe Rent-A-Drum in three words, Fiola chose Dynamic. Resilient. People-focused. Three qualities that she believes capture the spirit of the company and the people behind it.

Thank you, Fiola, for the dedication, adaptability and support you bring to the team. We’re proud to have you as part of the Rent-A-Drum family.

Waste management is often viewed as something that happens after operations.

But in reality, waste systems are part of operations.

At Rent-A-Drum, waste management is about more than simply removing waste, it’s about creating systems that work smarter and more efficient from start to finish.

Because when the right systems are in place, businesses can operate better and manage waste more responsibly.
