THE SITUATION IN NIGERIA.

The lecturer who insists on s*x for a young girl to pass is complaining about the rot in Nigeria.

The pastor who pays his driver 20k in Lagos or PH while his own son schools in the US is complaining about the hopelessness in Nigeria.

The trader who removes 2 bowls of rice from the bag, rebags and sells as a 'full' bag is complaining about the wickedness in Nigeria.

The civil servant who comes to work once a week and shows up end of month to receive alert is complaining about politicians who do nothing.

The student who spends the weekend partying only to start posting Instagram pictures on Monday is complaining that Nigeria is stealing his/her dreams.

The motor owner who can't join a simple queue but keeps darting in and out of traffic to shunt or insanely drives against oncoming traffic is complaining about disorderliness in Nigeria.

Until we realize that the value of Nigeria today is the average of our own individual values, we will keep fooling ourselves.

I see lots of enterprising youths with NCE, First degree, etc doing great exploits. Let's promote entrepreneurship first. School without necessary and needed action for self reliance and sustainability after school is useless. I have friends with masters , teaching in nursery schools, I am not despising teaching in nursery schools but come on. Logically, schooled people upto masters level should be putting out stuff in the society that everyone would be talking about.

Also, I agree, that some folks need and desire help but never get, for the few that get good luck to them, they should all know that education is just a process, a means to an end, the degree and masters is actually supposed to provoke whatever skills that were originally inherent in them, not just to bag papers in the name of qualifications and sit in wait for "never available" jobs
We will continue to help when and if we can, and I call on whoever is powerful in whatever way to try to empower the less opportuned in the best ways they can, even as we need to truly understand the idea of being educated.

What a good morning to meet with some senior citizens of our dear great country Nigeria on the need for a total reorientation of the people for the betterment of ourselves as individuals and the country by extension. It is one good that a person does that multiplies into many good things by many people. One little good deed goes a long way. Let's all be patriotic.
