Yesterday, 20 August, 2026, we welcomed a new set of drivers to LAGRIDE Academy as they took their first step towards becoming professional LAGRIDE Captains.

The session brought together LAGRIDE’s internal trainers, representatives from LASDRI, and experienced LAGRIDE Captains, who shared their knowledge, experience and practical insights with our new drivers.

From road safety and professionalism to passenger experience and what it takes to represent the LAGRIDE brand on the road, our new drivers were equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to deliver safe, reliable and exceptional rides.

Because becoming a LAGRIDE Captain is more than just driving a car. It’s about learning, growing and becoming a true professional on the road.

New drivers can now choose how they want to pay their first-week rental for a limited period and spread the remaining balance over 4–6 weeks while driving and earning with LAGRIDE.

Yesterday, 11 August 2026, LAGRIDE welcomed a high-level delegation from Kaduna State to our facility, led by Ahmad Shehu Haruna, MD/CEO, Kaduna Markets Development and Management Company (KMDMC).

The Kaduna State delegation, including Mohammed Salisu, GM, Operations; Mohammed Sani Suleman, GM, Corporate Services; Annah Kazah, GM, Finance and Accounts; and Abdulhaleem I. Ringim, Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on Economic Matters, was warmly received by Mildred Ekanem, Executive Director, LAGRIDE and her team: Oreoluwa Olatunji, Driver Management Supervisor; Stephen Onah, Fleet Manager; Damilola Shin-Aba , Fleet Manager; and Bola Akinsola, HR Supervisor; Leilat Abdulraheem, Marketing Executive.
