Unlocking Nigeria's Blue Economy Potential
Nigeria's fisheries sector could become a major driver of economic growth, with the potential to create over 500,000 jobs through strategic investments across the value chain.
Speaking at the Federal Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy's stakeholders' engagement, Aliko Dangote emphasized that investments in aquaculture, hatcheries, fish feed production, processing, cold-chain logistics, and export infrastructure can reduce fish imports, conserve foreign exchange, strengthen food security, and position Nigeria as a leading exporter of fisheries products. He also stressed that strong public-private partnerships, policy consistency, and modern infrastructure are essential to unlocking the nation's blue economy potential.
At Septmax Logistics, we recognize that efficient logistics, warehousing, customs brokerage, and supply chain solutions are critical to supporting the growth of Nigeria's marine and fisheries industries.
